Gray Butcherbird - Port Gawler Conservation Park, Port Gawler, South Australia

After last night's drive back east to give the Scarlet-chested Parrots one last chance, I was again disappointed. Imust admit, I sort of expected it but since I had time to kill before I get my tyres replaced tomorrow, I thought I would give them one last shot. Tomorrow morning will be my final attempt before I return to Adelaide to have my tyres replaced and then head north and start my way across the Nullarbor the following day.

The rest of the day was spent planning the upcoming month and my time in the Southwest. I am really excited about getting there and exploring the area. I have heard a lot about the area and have been loking forward to this part of my year for quite some time. Not only is it supposed to be a very scenic area, but the birdlife is quite spectacular in its own right. It will be a great way to spend the month of April.
